Who: Mechanical, Civil, Structural Engineers interested in learning more about the advances in concrete technology.
What: The topics discussed will range from water permeable concrete to ultra high strength concrete and what is possible with concrete additives. Discussions will include correct placement of re-bar and the impact of poor placement as well as the recent availability and uses of non-metal rebar (fiberglass, basalt) or the elimination of rebar altogether through the use of fiber reinforcement. A summary of Ozinga’s thoughts on best practices.
